Please bear with us.... There will be inevitable delays before we are able to catch up with the office and web duties here at the Math. This winter has been particularly busy. Pilgrims need looking after and many physical duties need attending to outside the office. Additionally, inside the office we are kept fully engaged in dealing with the most urgent items first. Moreover, with many devotees arriving with their own computers, we are now expected to give all types of tutorials and answer questions on how to use them, as well as give assistance to fix them as well as many other demands.
Although we are currently unable to promptly update the website, Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj is very pleased to be inundated with all your wonderful pictures and reports from around the world. So, please keep them coming! His Divine Grace receives them all, and we shall try to share some of these with you soon.

Nabadwip Sri Gaura-Purnima Festival - the biggest and smoothest ever held here at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math - recorded in pictures by Jamuna Priya Dasi on her VerandaViews.com website. Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj headed the programme that was followed in the evening by a two-hour grand firework display attended by over 5,000 pilgrims and locals.

A reminder, that Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj instructed that throughout the world the devotees will follow this calendar for all dates except for Ekadasis and their associated paran (break fast) times which may be calculated locally according to the lunar calendar. In this way the days of Appearance, Disappearance, and other Pastimes of the Lord and His great devotees will be observed on the actual day they took place in India, rather than according to the technical local calculation of the 'tithi' (lunar day) which often had devotees observing, for example, the Appearance of Mahaprabhu a day before He actually appeared here in Nabadwip.

Srimati Tarangini Devi Dasi passed away yesterday. The mother of the Acharyya of the Sri Rupanuga Sampradaya, Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, she in her later years was given shelter by Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj here in Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. Her strict sadhana of daily puja, japa and reading from the Scriptures continued up to her last days.
