Visit to the village of Arjjun Pukur

After visiting some of our local rice fields one afternoon, Srila Gurudev, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, spontaneously decided to visit Santosh Krishna Prabhu and his family, who live in the village of Arjjun Pukur, situated about 12km from Nabadwip.

Every year, the day after Srila Gurudev's Vyasa Puja, Santosh Krishna Prabhu and his family host a grand gathering of Hari-katha and Sankirttan, and provide breakfast Prasadam for approximately 5,000 pilgrims on their way to Srila Gurudev's holy birthplace, Sripat Bamunpara.

The area of Arjjun Pukur is very near to Nadanghat, where Srila Gurudev stayed for some time in his youth.
