"Gaura Kishor Babaji asked our Guru Maharaj (Srila Saraswati Thakur): 'Don't go to Kolkata, remain in the Dham and go on chanting Krishna Nam. Why do you bother about that? ... Kolkata is full of filth, a filthy place, a place of business, the place of exploitation, mutual robbing, all these things - nastiest place. You avoid that.' But Guru Maharaj answered: 'I've got so much charm in your foot dust that by dint of your foot dust I can conquer thousands and thousands of Kali. They won't be able to disturb my attention from your holy feet. By the power of your foot dust I can conquer the whole world. Please bless me in that line.'"

Saraswati Thakur as his disciple and the fact that "he did not extend his grace to many but to our Guru Maharaj". Srila Guru Maharaj explains that his temperament was 'nirapeksa', without caring for anything but the Lord and His grace.

He mentions that Gaura Kisor Das Babaji Maharaj, Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj and Bhagavat Das Babaji Maharaj were all siddha mahapurushas in Vraja Dham. But when Srila Gaura Kisor Das Babaji Maharaj went to Mayapur, after Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur and Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj found the appearance place of Mahaprabhu, he did not come back to Vrindavan because he got inspiration from Mahaprabhu to stay in Nabadwip.
